Kara Cooper is a multi-talented graphic designer, illustrator, photographer, and writer based in Australia. She has been in the industry since 1993 and had worked as a senior graphic designer in reputable companies such as See-Saw Illustration & Design, First Class in Graphic Design, Reader's Digest Australia, and The NT News. She also spent some time freelancing as a graphic designer for various clients.
In 2017, Kara established her brand, Mount Vic and Me, a line of quirky designs featuring tea towels, greeting cards, calendars, mugs, textile designs, and more. She also took over a studio shop in the scenic area of Mt. Victoria, an ideal spot for creatives and tourists alike. In 2018, she expanded her brand with the launch of Blue Mountains Socks, featuring bold cotton socks with Australian flora and fauna prints. Her products are available via wholesale and online retail.
Kara received her Associate’s Degree from Randwick TAFE and studied design in Springboard Design. She also attended Riverside Girls High School and Randwick Girls High School. Kara's portfolio exudes creativity, passion for design, and an eye for detail.
