Alexis Baker is an accomplished human resources professional with a passion for public sector work and workforce engagement. She attended the University of Iowa where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and French. Subsequently, she went to Northwestern University where she earned a Master of Science in Communications. Alexis has held several key roles in human resources and labor relations in Minnesota and Iowa. She served as a Labor Relations Specialist at the Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities, previously worked as a Human Resources Consultant at St. Paul Public Schools, and also served as HR at State of Iowa Aministration, Iowa Valley Community College District, and Groupon. Her experience in both private and public sectors has given her a unique perspective on workforce engagement and administration. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to any organization she works for.
