Katie Blot (Crowley) is an experienced education industry leader with over 25 years of experience in both the private and public sector. Her passion for helping organizations whose mission is to help people access and benefit from education stems from a deep understanding of how to align organizational capabilities with strategic goals. Blot's experience in creating and executing plans to achieve goals allows her to advise and guide companies and institutions in areas such as strategic planning, product strategy & roadmaps, go-to-market planning, and strategic initiative implementation.

Blot studied Economics at The Johns Hopkins University and has held several positions throughout her career. She is currently the Principal & Owner at Strategy-Ed LLC, and previously served at Vemo Education as a Board Member, COO and SVP, Strategy, and Senior Advisor. Before that, Blot held multiple executive positions at Blackboard, including Chief Strategy & Portfolio Officer and SVP, Global Strategy, Marketing & Product Management.

Blot's extensive list of organizations she has served with includes being a member of the Board of Directors at UPCEA (University Professional and Continuing Education Association) and the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA). She also served as Treasurer of the Board at Westmoreland Childrens Center and was a Vice President, Consulting Services at Blackboard. Blot also has government experience having served as CIO and Deputy General Manager at the U.S. Department of Education.

Blot's expertise includes strategic planning, product strategy, go-to-market planning, strategic initiative implementation, and organizational leadership. Her interests lie in helping organizations achieve their goals and missions through a strategic approach.
