Alastair Jardine pursued his education at the University of Edinburgh with a BSc (Hons) in Geography and an MSc in Geographical Information Science. After his education, he began his career as a researcher at the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Management before moving into the Energy Efficiency Analyst role at the STEP programme placement.

Alastair has worked with several organizations in his career, such as Hambleton District Council, Network Rail, and the Guardian News & Media. In his previous roles, he has worked as a UX Designer, GI Technical Specialist, Senior User Experience Architect, Head of Product, Head of Strategy & Partnerships, and UX Lead.

Currently, Alastair Jardine serves as the Head of Product for Float Cash Flow Forecasting that offers cash flow forecasting software for small businesses. Before Float, Alastair worked as the Head of Product and Head of Strategy & Partnerships at Trint, an AI-based transcription platform. He also worked as a UX Lead at Springer Nature, a leading scientific publisher.
