I help Oura communicate to our users how the body works and how the science behind our product is built to mirror their biosignals accurately, and consistently. I educate on our product features and strategically create new experiences for our users that strive to meet them where they are in their health journeys.

Oura

CX Content Strategist

- Created a solution-driven roadmap of digital transformation and virtual engagement strategies for future adoption within medical affairs and cross-functional departments 

- Created storyline materials outlining the discovery of TAK-041 (an orphan G-coupled protein receptor agonist), its mechanism of action, and potential for therapeutic use in anhedonia as a negative symptom of treatment-resistant depression / schizophrenia

- Evaluated the efficacy of current treatment options for anhedonia (the inability to experience pleasure) and evolving alternatives

Neurocrine Biosciences

Medical Communications Intern

- Constructed an evidence-based research library to serve as a consumer interface to educate on the nutritional integrity of the product and validate its effectiveness; focus on gathering higher quality and updated studies, enhancing receptivity of the storyline, improving site navigation/appeal and applying relevant user analytics to deepen brand connectivity

- Merged academic content into additional brand/social media marketing pieces to educate consumers on the physiological mechanisms that differentiate the product and guided its original entry into market; focus on giving users a digestible understanding of their biological-self and how it can be maximized through nutrition

Content Marketing Intern

- Assistance in the A-Z Lab, whose current research focuses on understanding properties of the mirror neuron system and shared representations as it relates to neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder and developmental coordination disorder, stroke and neurorehabilitation, contextual effects on empathy, embodied cognition, social communication, visual creativity and the gut-brain connection 

- Specific contribution to the emBody project which analyzes differences in how children with autistic spectrum disorder and developmental coordination disorder experience sensitized emotion 

- Transcribed, coded and organized videotaped subject interviews to document consistencies, facial and tonal affects, non-behavioral cues, variations in responses, etc.; used this collection of information to run meta-analysis with an end goal of determining if supported statistical patterns could be applied to enhance the early-intervention process in ASD to teach empathetic skills through the nature of embodied cognition

USC Brain and Creativity Institute

Research Assistant

- Produced a series of comprehensive research reports (including visuals, statistical summaries and creative solutions) for 15 new product launches based on category and consumer trends, sales data, and scholarly research findings; my presentations offered competitive pricing strategies, original product innovations based on trending skews and opportunistic foresight, and unique branding and marketing approaches that were directly applied in product roadmapping process

- Constructed individual project goals and deadlines in Asana to ensure that the timeline for each launch was actualized and met with supporting details to advance all stages of development

- Analyzed modern pharmaceutical inactive ingredient safety and efficacy to provide education to consumers on the importance of cleaner, organic replacements within this segment; created company product differentiators to show clean-cut comparison against leading brands whose products did not uphold the same non-synthetic integrity 

- Created an original Genexa "ex-list" library, consisting of synthetic inactive ingredients contained in competitor products and the academic research to back their potential harm to the human body

- Generated blog posts for the company website centered around receptive health findings/data supported by academic research to provide evidence-based insight into the field of wellness

- Developed original social media content, scripts and visual display (Instagram/Instagram Story) for further customer education, branding and lifestyle recommendations 

- Initiated outreach to highly-regarded pediatricians across the nation for product approval and recommendation

Market Research & Analyst Intern

- Built brand awareness and partnerships directly on and around USC's campus through sponsorship, experiential event planning, daily promotion, sales account development at local stores and chain branches, etc.

- Educated the student-body on the scientific framework that guides the effectiveness of all related products and wellness initiatives driven through the mission statement of More Labs; the goal is for users of Morning Recovery, Aqua+, and Liquid Focus to channel a more productive, efficient, and resilient lifestyle 

- Influence of the product through social media marketing; worked with the recipients of event sponsorship to generate Instagram/Facebook/Snapchat stories and posts to display incorporation of the product into their experience 

- Recruited influencers directly on campus or otherwise popular amongst current students to strengthen organic marketing tactics and enhance product visibility

University Brand Manager

- Designed optimized program landing pages for active and new users in WebFlow; created other original onboarding materials including digital pamphlets and introductory newsletters distributed via Mail Chimp  

- Conducted dense research on the primary user population to understand commonalities, comorbidity, risks, general demographics, IQ, etc.; researched beyond the target population to understand who else could be reached by the technology/psychological framework of the product and generated solutions to obtain these goals 
 
- Redesigned the new member implementation process by identifying patterns of success and failure in initial outreach, attributing direct customer complaints, applying a diversity of user profiles and assessing the overall engagement of present and past users 

- Collaborated with the engineering team via GitHub ticketing; was responsible for reporting technical errors after rigorous product testing and managing the timely completion of updated code

- Contributed to UX design; specifically in novel application features, visual layout, content editing, and ease of user navigation

- Directly engaged with users over the phone to initiate program introduction; explained fundamentals of the platform, guided the user through the set-up process and provided general support to ensure comprehensive understanding

- Established strong partnerships with campus resources, student/staff leaders and organizations (including non-profits) in the Greater Los Angeles Area that aligned with physical, mental and emotional health awareness initiatives 

- Launched campaigns that promoted and maintained wellness among all Greek affiliated members, including sexual violence and alcohol misuse prevention, stress-relief facilitation, mindfulness training, etc.; executed this through use of focus groups and teaching member representatives within each chapter on how to generate improved outcomes based on the structure/makeup of their organization in relation to the whole community
