Emily Schapira is a notable Philadelphia business leader with a passion for clean energy and social impact. A 40 Under 40 award recipient in 2020 by the Philadelphia Business Journal, Schapira is renowned for her work at the intersection of energy, environmental impact, and social justice. She has long leveraged clean energy to address some of Philadelphia's most pressing issues equitably, aiming to create 10,000 jobs and invest $1 billion in the energy economy. Schapira studied international relations and urban studies at the University of Pennsylvania, where she also completed an MBA in environmental and risk management from the Wharton School.
