Cris Garrido is a service-oriented individual who has continuously grown as an expert in the publishing industry. Garrido has an M.A. in Education and a BBA in Business Administration. She also earned an International Business Certificate from Baruch College and an Executive Education Certificate in Book Publishing from Yale School of Management.

Garrido started working at the North American Mission Board as a Pastoral Intern before moving to Compassion International as a Complementary Interventions Administrator. She continued making a difference at Food for the Hungry, Inc. as the Director of Operations for the Dominican Republic.

Garrido transitioned into the publishing industry while at LifeWay Christian Resources as the Director of Spanish Publishing and the B&H - Acquisitions and Development Editor. Afterward, she became the VP & Publisher at HarperCollins Christian Publishing, where she currently serves as the VP and Publisher for Spanish. Garrido's thirst for growth has enabled her to become a leader with a holistic approach to professional development.
