Executive Marketing Director

As employee #1 at Exponential, I had the opportunity to join a truly pioneering team at the ground floor of one of the world’s first digital finance firms. From the company’s nascence as a provider of early-stage capital to high-growth potential ESG-focused enterprises, we grew to 15+ members with services including:

♦ Capital raising via private placements and digital security issuance for early-stage firms
♦ Issuance and management of digital assets for large corporate organizations
♦ Wealth management and diversification into digital assets for high net worth individuals

In my work as Director of Marketing, I helmed all aspects of marketing strategy, cross-channel execution, sponsorships, communications and global brand development. I also spearheaded some of the most mission-critical strategic projects org-wide including the development of marketing collateral (website, podcasts, social media) and concept-to-launch leadership of new products including:

♦ Digital Asset Fund (first fund to allow retail investors to invest in digital assets)
♦ Digital Venture Fund (diversified portfolio offering digital asset exposure to accredited investors)

Over 3+ years, we successfully listed funds on The Fusang Exchange (Malaysia) and MERJ Exchange, NEO Exchange and Dealsquare (Canada). I also supported the creation and launch of the world’s first federally-approved digital security in 2017 (FIRE by TribeOS), and worked with government leaders and Heads of State to ideate new ways to integrate digital assets into modern financial systems.

As a digital marketing partner to leading Canadian and US brands, I led all aspects of marketing activity in client campaigns with high 6-figure budgets to accelerate top-of-mind consumer brand awareness and revenues. In this capacity, I conceptualized the ideas and messaging behind national TV campaigns broadcast to millions across North America and globally, coordinated and directed commercials shot in our Canadian office, and managed large-scale contests for brands garnering up to 200,000+ contestants nationwide.

As an Assistant Director, I had the opportunity to work on high-profile productions ($100M+ budgets) with A-list actors to help transform the director’s vision into reality. 

Key responsibilities:

- Working directly with Tier-A actors on films with 100M+ budgets
- Simultaneously coordinating over 100 people in 7 different departments in real-time
- Organizing and processing groups of up to 400 performers to achieve the desired shot
- Overseeing promotional photo shoots and press-kits with appropriate media outlets
- Keeping high-profile people on-schedule during long high-stress 17 hour+ shoots

In my time with Mosaic I worked with some of nations largest companies as an experiential marketer, mobile tour team lead, and online community manager.  My main focuses were to not only increase brand awareness, but also to grow the community aspect and positive sentiment felt toward each brand.  I accomplished this by creating engaging customer-to-brand experiences both in-field and online.

Some of my responsibilities included:

- Online Community Management: encouraging online discussion of virtual and in-field promotions and events
- Growing the online community from ~1K to over 40K engaged users in a tight two-month timeline with minimal online ad spend
- Leading a brand ambassador team across the country in a branded vehicle marketing tour (roughly 100 different venues)
- Surpassing all measured key metrics and reporting them to the head office daily
