Grameenphone's Chief Business Officer Kazi Hassan is an accomplished business leader experienced in driving top-line growth and cultivating relationships with high-value clients. He previously served as Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer for Emerging Asia Senior Leadership of Telenor, leading the company's strategy, innovation, and business transformation initiatives in Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Myanmar. Hassan's contributions include architecting the award-winning "Grameenphone Accelerator," a leading startup platform in Bangladesh. Prior to joining Telenor, Hassan served at Deloitte UK as a Senior Management Consultant, providing a multitude of advisory services to large-cap companies worldwide. His expertise is in sectors such as Telecom, Oil & Gas, Consumer Business, and Financial Services. Additionally, he has held senior positions in Finance and Marketing with IBM UK and BAT Bangladesh. Kazi Hassan holds an MBA from Oxford University and is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) with professional accountancy body ACCA, UK. He works with global platforms such as Seedstars and Founders Institute and mentors startups in Bangladesh and adjacent markets. Hassan serves on the boards of several notable organizations and on the Advisory Committee of ACCA Bangladesh. He is also elected to represent Bangladesh in the Global ACCA Forum as the Country Ambassador for 2020-2021.
