Kimberly Gotches is a seasoned business planning and communications strategist who has accomplished outstanding results in cross-disciplinary initiatives at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). She has extensive expertise in organizational communications, collaborative marketing, research, and strategic planning, particularly for business and IT disciplines. Kimberly is a tactical leader who provides direction, motivation, trust, leverages diverse views, and encourages innovation to her team members. Her energy and innovative mindset merge elements of storytelling and marketing to make information compelling, attract and retain clients, secure buy-in, and inspire action.

Kimberly's background in libraries and her degree in Master of Science in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign have given her the skills to manage information collection, validation, and distribution efficiently. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Marquette University and studied Expressive Art Therapy at Lesley University.

She is currently the Program Strategist at Los Alamos National Laboratory's Laboratory Directed Research and Development where she has previously worked as a Marketing Communications Specialist and Administrative Assistant. Before joining LANL, Kimberly was the Marketing and Public Relations Manager at Geneva Public Library District and a librarian at Bartlett Public Library District, Des Plaines Valley Public Library District, and Bartlett Public Library.

Kimberly has gained skills in customer service and social services case management during her early professional career, where she worked at Houghton Mifflin and Bensenville Nursing Home.
