Miki Jacevic

Mirsad “Miki” Jacevic, with over 25 years of leadership experience, has been the Vice Chair at Inclusive Security for the past two decades. He is deeply involved in training programs and strategic consultations globally, fostering partnerships with major organizations like the UN Development Programme and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. Advocating for inclusive leadership in peace and security, Miki focuses on conflict prevention, resolution, and transitional justice, with a strong passion for marginalized groups' inclusion. Hailing from Sarajevo, he actively works on conflict prevention, violence cessation, and post-war rebuilding efforts around the world. Miki has led various impactful initiatives, including the Afghan Peace and Reconstruction Programme, post-conflict development in Liberia, transitional justice in Colombia, and police reform in Pakistan. He is noted for developing a comprehensive conflict analysis and resolution curriculum, drawing from his extensive teaching experience globally. Alongside his wife, he co-founded Global Youth Connect in 2004, aiming to engage youth in preventing genocide. Miki is an esteemed educator at institutions like the Rotary Peace Center, American University, and the School for International Training, focusing on areas such as transitional justice and peacebuilding program evaluation.
