Colin Kirby has recently joined Foley Hoag LLP as a partner in the Business Department. He has extensive experience working with emerging and growth-oriented companies, and has represented entrepreneurs, management teams, and investors in a variety of corporate, transactional, and commercial contexts. Before joining Foley Hoag, Kirby worked at Lowenstein Sandler LLP, 8 Rivers Capital, Morris Manning & Martin LLP, and Nooch Inc. He was also an Adjunct Professor at Columbia Business School, where he taught Venture Capital and Start-Up Law. Kirby holds a JD and an LL.M. in Entrepreneurship and Corporate Finance from University of Notre Dame Law School and Duke University School of Law, respectively, as well as a bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations from UC Santa Barbara.
