Donna Hackett is a highly motivated commercial professional in the life science industry with over 25 years of experience. Her expertise lies in business development, venture financing, and worldwide partnering. As a scientifically and legally qualified non-practising barrister, she has a successful track record of wealth creation through deals, product acquisitions, and securing investments for start-up companies. She has extensive board level and executive management experience and has conducted commercial and intellectual property due diligence on potential start-up activity. Hackett holds a BSc Hons in Biochemistry from the University of Aberdeen and has studied law, new venture development, management studies, and marketing. She currently holds the position of Head of Commercial Translation at The Francis Crick Institute and has previously worked for Abzena, Stabilitech, ProPharma Partners, University College London Ventures, and BTG in various senior positions.
