Bryan Denson is an award-winning journalist, best-selling author, and media consultant. He has spent over three decades in the field, writing for numerous daily newspapers and websites. Bryan has received many accolades for his work, including a Pulitzer Prize nomination, a George Polk Award, and a Michael E. DeBakey Award, among others. He has authored several books, including The Spy's Son and the FBI Files series for younger readers, and blends investigative reporting with long-form narrative writing. Bryan's education includes a fellowship at the Annie E. Casey Foundation at the University of Maryland College Park, a Jon Davidoff Scholarship at the Wesleyan Writers Conference at Wesleyan University, a fellowship at the Knight School of Specialized Journalism at the University of Maryland College Park, and film-video studies at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. He attended Mount Hebron High School and has held positions as a reporter at The Oregonian / OregonLive.com and The Houston Post. As a media consultant, Bryan has worked with renowned publishing houses such as Grove/Atlantic, Inc. and Macmillan (Roaring Brook Press).
