Leen Bnyat is an advocate, organizer, and public speaker who has dedicated her career to social justice, community development, and international affairs. As a first-generation immigrant of Syrian and Palestinian descent, Leen brings a unique perspective to all her work, which has garnered her recognition as a 2020 YNPN Greater Milwaukee Chapter Emerging Leader Award recipient.

Leen received her Bachelor's degree in Gender & Women's Studies, Global Health, and African Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she was also involved in research projects at the Wisconsin Institute for Medical Research. She later studied at the University of Cape Town, where she further developed her interest in international affairs and community development.

Currently, Leen serves as the Chief of Staff for Business Development at gener8tor, where she manages the company’s grant portfolio and is responsible for developing partnerships and expanding the organization's reach. She is also an Executive Board Member of the Peace Learning Center of Milwaukee and a grants consultant specializing in foundation and programming grants.

Leen is an accomplished public speaker and host, having founded "The Spark Podcast," a platform where she facilitates conversations around social justice and community development. She also has experience organizing social justice initiatives, having served as the Child Nutrition Program Organizer at the Hunger Task Force and the PATCH Youth Advocates Fellowship Implementation Manager at the Wisconsin Alliance for Women's Health.
