Michael Mikelson is a notable historian and writer, whose passion for aviation history and personal tragedy have led him to create a film series that explores two pivotal moments of WWII aviation history. With a Master's degree in History and experience in Microsoft Network Engineering, Michael has honed his research, writing, and project management skills. Over the years, he has gathered a vast collection of professionally taken photos and videos, including a private collection of color film shot on a 1939 Bolex camera. He has interviewed 27 B-29 veterans and captured their stories on camera. Michael is the Executive Producer and Historian at Dakota Miles, LLC, and has worked as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, and Technical Editor for various companies, including SUN, Boeing, and Real Networks.
