In my previous role as Senior Sales Consultant at Life Residential, my key responsibilities included acquiring new business and valuing substantial sites, the most recent development to the tune of £20M

Maintaining client relationships; maximising brand exposure through effective marketing strategies and liaising with clients and affiliates throughout the sale or purchase of a property. 

Based in Islington, I was responsible for sales in North London and the surrounding areas, which includes prime locations such as Marylebone, as well as areas undergoing regeneration. In addition to traditional estate agency. Here I gained valuable experience in the investment side of residential property sales, for example in contract reassignments and financial projections of proposed sites.

Mfriendly was born out of frustration with trying to view our favourite websites on the go from our mobile devices and often having to give up due to poor user experience. With a sound understanding of HTML5 and various programming languages, as well as the science behind social media, we felt we had the necessary skills to do something about it.

We began by researching what creates a great website from a mobile user's perspective and built upon that. With so much traffic coming from portable devices such as iPads and smartphones, it seemed like many small local companies were ignoring this percentage of their potential customers.

Together, we decided to help as many of our friends and families with their businesses so that they wouldn't fall into the same trap as many small and medium-sized businesses by not developing a mobile strategy.

During my role at Barclays Bank PLC, I completed a wide range of transactions on behalf of customers, from deposits and withdrawals to international transfers.

I was responsible for identifying appropriate financial products for customers; loans, savings accounts, insurances, and so on; generating leads and referring them to the relevant team member, for example, Personal Bankers and Mortgage Advisers. I repeatedly achieved top lead generator in branch and in doing so, also matched many high value customers with Premier Managers. This demonstrated my ability to identify and act on sales opportunities; as well as that of building rapport with customers and successfully working as part of a team. 

In addition to meeting targets, I had much experience in cash handling, till balancing, processing complaints effectively and complying with FSA regulations. I also gained skills in organisation and multi-tasking, through the need to maintain a balance between customer communications, lead generation and speed and efficiency, at all times. 

Regularly, I fulfilled the role of banking hall co-ordinator; meeting and greeting customers upon entrance, ensuring they know where to go and finding out if there is any way we could improve their experience. I found my communication skills to be an asset and strive to always provide outstanding customer service and satisfaction. This was made evident by my achieving of 100% in several Mystery Shop reports. 

Whenever possible, I used my initiative to produce positive outcomes. On quiet days, I used customer contact lists to identify potential leads and made telephone call outs to secure these. In order to differentiate myself from other customer advisers, I had put myself forward as the branch’s Brand Agent representative. In this role I attended meetings with the area director to discuss best practices and propose improvements to the customer experience.

I started this Free Online Classified website for University students around the UK to buy and sell their unwanted and old items on to other students at their University. 

Primarily its has been used by 2nd and 3rd year undergrads to sell their old textbooks from first years studying on the same course as them.
