Michael Blair is a highly skilled emergency medicine physician with a unique background as a former IT professional. He received his degree in D.O. from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and his MBA in Business from Grand Valley State University. He has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry as a strategic planner, project manager, and consultant, working for national and international enterprises. In his last role, he selected and implemented electronic medical records systems and advanced data center solutions for healthcare organizations.

Currently, Michael is completing his ACGME-accredited residency within the Michigan State University Statewide Campus System in Monroe, Michigan, where he's exploring opportunities to practice emergency medicine while utilizing his past experiences to improve patient care and physician satisfaction with technology-based solutions. He's a member of VEMA, where he works as an emergency medicine physician, and he's worked previously for Alteon Health and Promedica Monroe Regional Hospital.

During his IT career, Michael held various roles from interim CIO to network engineer, working closely with diverse project teams, including C-level officers and technology directors, to deliver projects from start to finish. He spent two years as director of Internet Operations at Inside Communications, building an online presence with ground-breaking technology to deliver real-time, online sporting event coverage.

Apart from his professional achievements, Michael holds a BSBA in finance from Central Michigan University. He's a highly skilled problem-solver, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, dedicated to continuous learning, and passionate about delivering quality patient care.
