Allyson Markey

Allyson Markey is a communication and PR veteran, entrepreneur, and hands-on founder of a fast-growing PR agency called The Forum. The company serves small and medium-sized businesses across the US, helping them with branding, digital marketing, social media, content marketing, public relations, web design, and SEO.

Born into a Navy family, Allyson has a passion for helping veterans, and she has launched a new service line at The Veterans Advisory Council to provide brands and organizations who want to connect with the Veteran community with empathy, understanding, and respect.

With academic training in Geology at UC Davis, Allyson is highly skilled at translating scientific concepts into real-world, easily understandable stories that improve brand awareness and develop relationships. She has extensive experience developing, managing, and executing foreign and domestic strategic communications and social media campaigns with a keen focus on building brand awareness, engagement, and relationships.
