Sebastian Gier is a dynamic professional with a vast range of experiences in design and creative direction. With a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from the Folkwang University of Arts and a Master's degree in Product Design from the Umeå Institute of Design, Gier has worked with notable organizations, including Bosch and BMW Group. At BMW Group, he served in various positions, including as a Design Lead for User Experience and Interface Design, Designer for Strategic Design and Digital Strategy, and Product and Transportation Design. He also worked at Minimal (Mnml), where he contributed to Product and Interaction Design.

Gier is a co-founder and Managing Director at Footprint, which aims to integrate design with sustainable development practices. He is also a former Founder and Curator at Designdrives, where he led discussions and workshops on design issues.
