Sam Roots is a design-led innovation specialist, with a keen interest in digital wellbeing, sustainability, biosciences, and inclusive design. She brings a human-centred design approach to all her work, applying rigorous, iterative methodologies and facilitating conversations that bridge silos and disciplines. Sam has been involved in six-figure budget client projects with international teams and has contributed to academic publications in significant journals. She has given talks on topics such as designing for access and the societal implications of AI. Sam earned her degree in Materials Science from the University of Oxford and studied Innovating Design Engineering for both her MA and MSc at the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London, respectively.
