Responsibilities:(1)  Facilitationof Group Orientation Sessions:  Review of CNE programs, criteria of eligibility, players in the process and steps of the process; also, the role of a Counselor Advisor in relations to clients seeking homeownership counseling assistance(2)  1:1 Counseling with clients:  This involves a review of clients credit reports and discussion about how to overcome various obstacles contained therein; review of clients Spending Plans or establishment of a Spending Plan with clients via issuance of a Budget Worksheet and dialog regarding how this is to be set-up and implemented in each participant's life; follow-up sessions both live and over the telephone to assure that clients are staying on task(3)  Facilitation of both 1:1 Pre-Purchase Education, as well as, group facilitation ... Discussion related to the purchase process from start to finish; expectations for each and considerations that each should make prior to entering the largest major investment of their lives.Experience:(1) I have worked in this field since 1996; my start was right here at CNE and during that period I participated in lots of trainings that involved explanation related to these processes(2) I spent time working directly with Mortgage Bankers, Brokers and Originators via Pre-licensure trainings or the facilitation of such through TrainingPro ... I facilitated or presented information related to guidelines for those mentioned herein from North Carolina, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Florida, California, etc., to name a few.  I received information for the company which I was required to study very closely prior to delivery of said information back into these various arenas(3) I have been facilitating with the folks at NeighborWorks America (formerly known as Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation) ... Something I continue to do around the country(4) I've also been involved with (via a pilot program)  G.E. Mortgage Capital on their Borrower Assistance Program

Responsible for opening, closing and tracking client information in both CIRCE and AVATAR; systems used by the agency for the purpose of monitoring client activities for the purpose of billing month-to-month.  Responsible for Reconciliation of program reports and follow-up with Case Managers/Directors regarding any discrepancies.  Management of services for three different programs:  ACM, CARE/MAP and DCCS.  Oversight for these programs via services unto participating clients.  Ordering of office supplies, monitoring of activities such as delivery of medications.Correlation of activities between the Main Receptionist Area and the three aboved mentioned programs.

Services performed in this role for approximately two years.  Cashier/Food Services worker - Responsibilities:  Preparation dining hall for guest and students, assist kitchen with meal set-up/displays, greet entrances, collect payment for meals, track attendance for those on meal plans, keep food stations stocked and general upkeep.
