Alap Bharadwaj is an accomplished Managing Partner of Partner Innovation at Google, with 15+ years of experience across technology, finance, and organization development. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Rochester, followed by an MBA from INSEAD. Bharadwaj started his career as a Wealth Manager at Dawnay Day AV, followed by a stint at Avendus Capital as an Analyst before co-founding and leading India1st. He went on to join Google as a Business Manager in E-Commerce in India, eventually rising to the position of Head of Industry for Mobile industry apps, gaming and commerce for Southeast Asia.
In his current role at Google, Bharadwaj is Managing Partner, Partner Innovation, APAC, and is responsible for driving Google’s business with the world’s largest partners in the APAC (Asia-Pacific) region, while also helping them with their digital transformation journeys. He is well-known for his expertise in innovation, strategy and building businesses. Outside of Google, Bharadwaj has also been actively involved as an angel investor in several technology start-ups including BukuKas, Propseller, Tigerhall, and Float Mobility, amongst others.
