David Ballew is a seasoned cloud technology and team leader with two decades of experience in digital transformation. With a Bachelor's in Mathematics and Economics from Claremont Mckenna College, he has spent ten years delivering highly scalable AWS and Azure cloud solutions for media, Video, and Over The Top (OTT) streaming Direct to Consumer (D2C). Apart from building, mentoring, and leading highly performant teams, he has also spent ten years in global media organizations. David is also known for identifying, anticipating and shaping client needs, and implementing innovative, scalable, cost-effective solutions to communicate across all levels of an organization.

David currently serves as the Vice President, Head of Video Platform Services, OTT at Sony New Media Solutions. In the past, he has held many executive positions, including VP Engineering, Digital Platforms Group / Sony Crackle at Sony Pictures Entertainment, VP Business Resource Management, Worldwide Television Networks IT at Sony Pictures Entertainment, Director, Enterprise Media Management Systems at The Walt Disney Company, and Director, IT Medical Management at Health Net. He is also the Founding Partner at DS Solutions LLC and has been a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting.
