Amanda Hameline

Amanda Hameline is an accomplished individual with a diverse background in arts and nonprofit management.

She holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree from Sarah Lawrence College and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History and Literature, magna cum laude, from Harvard University.

Amanda currently serves as the Founding Director at Amanda + James, showcasing her leadership and entrepreneurial skills.

Her previous roles include serving as a Development Manager at Dorrance Dance, where she honed her skills in fundraising and management.

Amanda has also worked as a Fundraising Consultant and Grant Writer in a freelance capacity, highlighting her expertise in securing funding for various projects.

With experience as a Grant Writer at both Dorrance Dance and the Martha Graham Dance Company, Amanda has a strong background in grant writing and proposal development.

At the Martha Graham Dance Company, she held multiple roles, including Director Of Individual Giving, demonstrating her proficiency in donor relations and individual fundraising strategies.

Amanda's early career included positions such as Producer, Co-Curator, and Development Associate, showcasing her versatility in arts administration.

She also gained valuable experience through internships at Gallim Dance, Manhattan Theatre Club, and American Repertory Theater, where she developed skills in marketing, research, and nonprofit operations.
