Kit Colbert, a seasoned technologist and executive, has spent his career in various roles, such as a developer, architect, CTO, and GM. Currently, he is the VP & GM of Cloud-Native Apps at VMware, where he is responsible for strategy and product development of Cloud-Native Application solutions. He has also held positions of VP & CTO, Cloud Platform BU and End-User Computing at VMware. With a ScB in Computer Science from Brown University, Kit is known for his expertise in developing technology solutions and executing product delivery with the help of teams. He has been involved in the creation, development, and delivery of several features like vMotion and Storage vMotion in vSphere. Kit is an engaging personality; he frequently engages with customers, press, and analysts, presents at conference breakouts, panels, and keynotes, driving awareness and excitement in the technology world.
