Ilia Kap is a chemical engineer with extensive experience in various aspects of chemical processing, shot peening, and heat treatment. With a background in B.Sc and M.Sc in Chemical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, Ilia has worked in different roles, including as a senior process engineer at H.R. Givon Ltd., where he founded the Chemical Processing, Penetrant Inspection, and Shot Peening departments. He has also been a technical manager of chemical processing, shot peening, and heat treatment departments. Additionally, his experience has included assimilation of new technologies - automation and new processes.

Ilia's specializations include chemical processing of non-ferrous alloys, ceramic coatings, scanning electron microscopy with EDS, chromatography (GC and IC), metallography, pyrometry per AMS2750E, electrochemical analysis techniques, shot peening, rheology of polymers, and process design. His expertise and skills are a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application.

Ilia has also worked in the R&D department of VIM Technologies and as a researcher and teaching assistant at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. His professional interests include optimizing the various processes involved in chemical engineering, establishing new departments, implementing new technologies, and exploring innovative solutions.
