He has worked for numerous prestigious organizations like NBC, Turner Sports, and WSB-TV, where he honed his craft as a producer, anchor, and reporter. Van has also worked for major TV networks like CBS and CNN Sports as a weekend sports anchor and reporter.

After three decades on the airwaves, Van has transitioned to a new chapter in his career as a golf caddie, where he enjoys being outside and experiencing some of the most breathtaking golf courses in the country. He has worked as a golf caddie at Pebble Beach Resorts, Old Marsh Golf Club, and Peachtree Golf Club.
