Karthik Kumar Viswanathan is a highly experienced and skilled technologist with a passion for creating systems that are scalable, efficient, and high-performing. He has been developing usable software for over two decades and has deep expertise in real-time analytics, performance, and automation. Throughout his career, he has worked in a wide range of organizations ranging from startups to large corporations, including Zenefits, Walmart Labs, Freshworks, Plivo, Amazon, and NetApp.

Karthik is the Founder, CEO, and Consultant at Reasonable Work and has previously been the Founder and CEO of 3Lex labs. He has also held various leadership positions, including Lead Software Engineer, Lead Site Reliability Engineer, and Lead Technical Architect, where he developed and operated concurrent and distributed systems with very high availability. He has retrofitted legacy systems to be deployment-aware and has created and ported solutions to be OS agnostic, including Embedded, iOS, Android, Linux, macOS, Windows, and occasionally many variants of SunOS / BSD / Unix as well.

Karthik has trained and mentored many engineers and is familiar with many verticals and their challenges. He has an excellent education background and was a Teaching Assistant at Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani. He is a freelance programmer and is passionate about bringing soul into projects, empowering people and mentoring them to bring out their best potential.
