Enhancing Nigerian Advocacy for a Better Business Environment (ENABLE)ENABLE is a 7.5 million British Pounds fund to develop the capacity of Nigerian business Associations to advocate for a better business evironment.In its inception phase I have lead the complete re-design of the project introducing considerable elements of innovation from other DFID funded advocacy programmes, incorporating M4P (Making Markets work for the Poor) principles.Managing ENABLE for about three years, I have successfully lead a team of 10 international staffs and several consultants to design and manage single interventions to support Nigerian Business Associations, Media, Research Organisations and Government Departments. ENABLE has become a benchmark among Business Advocacy programmes.

Private Sector Competitiveness Project  - A large World Bank 95 million USD World Bank project aiming to improve the competitiveness of the Tanzanian Private Sector through the improvement of the Tanzanian Business Environment, Enterprise Competitiveness and Access to Finance. I spearheaded a large number of regulatory reforms across several government ministries, departments and agencies, and coordinated public private dialogue with the aim to develop and launch important initiatives to support private entrepreneurship and access to finance. I lead the design of an innovative Cluster Competitive Project as well as a Matching Grants and incubator for innovative businesses. I have successfully lobbied for the establishment of the Tanzanian Competitiveness Commission.     With the help of the PSCP, Tanzania has approved a new business registration act only 7 months after beginning of project's implementation.

Private Sector Development I have advised the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Empowerment in several areas related to private sector development and business environment reform. I have lead a local public/private team to draft the Tanzanian Private Sector Development Strategy. I have organised the largest Tanzanian international conference on PSD and economic growth (Growth Learning Workshop), bringing renowned international experts, including the former prime minister of Ireland and Harvard Business School Lecturers. Operated as liaison officer between MPEE and World Bank, and developed hands-on knowledge of World Bank financial reporting and procurement procedures.
