Eric Simpson has an impressive educational background, having graduated from both Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Materials Science Engineering, and Harvard Business School with a Master of Business Administration. He has held multiple positions at Zymergen Inc. including Director of Product Management and Corporate Development and Strategy, as well as Director of Product Operations. Prior to this, Simpson had experience in Business Operations at Counsyl, a Senior Policy Associate position at the City of Chicago, and a Senior Associate Consultant role as well as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company. He started his career as a Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs. Currently, Simpson is the Vice President at Gamma Biosciences.
