Casey Albert Santiago is an accomplished business leader and social entrepreneur with a background in political science, international development, and business management. With an MA in International Affairs, Economic and Political Development from Columbia University and an MBA from Columbia Business School, Santiago has a strong foundation in both theory and practice.
Santiago's career has been defined by a passion for improving maternal healthcare around the world. As the CEO and Founder of Kangu, Santiago led the development of a platform that connects pregnant women living in poverty with donors who help pay for the cost of their safe delivery. Prior to Kangu, Santiago worked as a Product Manager at Kiva and as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte.
Santiago's commitment to improving global health outcomes has driven her to take on a variety of leadership roles across the social entrepreneurship and international development sectors. She is currently the Managing Director of Consumer Health at Founders Factory, where she helps drive innovation in healthcare startups. Previously, Santiago served as the Executive Director of GIE at Results for Development, where she led projects focused on maternal and child health.
