Carol Salcito is a seasoned travel management expert with over 18 years of experience as the Director, Corporate Travel at United Technologies Corporation. Salcito spearheaded the consolidation of UTC's global travel budget, which exceeded $200 million. In 1992, she joined Management Alternatives, Inc. (MAI) as a consultant, where she helped the company become a multinational consultancy through a legally registered trademark of Management Solutions International Group. In 1998, Caro became the President and Owner of MAI, and the company has been a Nationally Certified Women's Business Enterprise since 2000.

Salcito is an active member of the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), and has chaired the Education Committee in multiple countries, including the US, Shanghai, and Brazil. She is also a charter member of the Association for Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE), where she served on the Executive Board for four years. Salcito's expertise in corporate travel management has landed her several accolades, including Business Travel News's Travel Manager of the Year and being named one of the 25 most influential executives in the travel industry.

Carol Salcito has studied Business Administration and Management, General and holds an Associate of Science degree from Mt. St. Mary College and Charter Oak College. She has also studied at Katherine Gibbs School and New York University.
