Nieves Cubo Mateo is an accomplished scientist and researcher with extensive experience in the fields of pharmacy, bioprinting, and tissue engineering. She completed her PhD with honors at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where she focused on developing technology and materials for use in bioprinting and biofabrication, and has since held various teaching and research positions at universities and institutions around the world. Nieves has a Master's degree in Materials Science and specializes in the development and characterization of polymers. She is also an experienced instructor, having taught courses at multiple academic levels focused on robotics, informatics, and experimental science.

Nieves' background includes work as a PhD fellow at the ICTP-CSIC, scientific researcher at ITEFI - CSIC, researcher at Technische Universität Dresden, and eventual professor of experimental science and robotics at The Creative Minds Academy. She is currently serving as a Professor and Researcher of ARIES Group at Universidad Nebrija. Nieves is passionate about science communication and has worked as a scientific disseminator, instructor, and monitor, promoting 3D printing technology and robotics to children and young adults in various settings.
