Je Amaechi
Je Amaechi is a dynamic leader, activist, and transformative justice advocate. With a background in philosophy, Je has a deep understanding of the mechanisms of the mind and their effects on individuals and society. Her passion for healing and reducing bias has led her to become a master of various healing modalities. Additionally, as a systems thinker, she thrived in high-growth tech startup environments like Squarespace and Mercari. After leaving the tech world, Je held operational roles for organizations focused on creating safety and opportunities for communities of color, including Freedom to Thrive and Livelihood NW. In addition to her professional endeavors, Je co-founded Portland's first spiritual collective for people of color and is launching the first Black-owned brick & mortar apothecary in Portland. Je has a diverse background that includes studying web development, working in the law department of NYC, and serving as a program specialist. Her varied experiences inform her approach to transformative justice, which is rooted in creating systemic change through individual and collective healing.
