LUCIANA SATIKO ARASATO
Luciana Satiko Arasato is an experienced geotechnology professional with over a decade of experience in remote sensing and geoprocessing. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Remote Sensing, Geoprocessing, and Species Distribution Modelling from the National Institute for Space Research (INPE). She also holds a technical degree in construction from the Federal Technical School in São Paulo.
Luciana's expertise lies in planning and coordinating teams in the office and in the field, product quality analysis, research and development of new solutions, and innovation. Throughout her career, Luciana has focused on environmental and agricultural risk analysis, mapping biodiversity, and spatial analysis. She has extensive experience in the processing and analysis of multisensor data in land cover studies, with a particular focus on tropical forests. Luciana is proficient in various GIS software, including ArcGIS, QGIS, ENVI, eCognition, and R.
Luciana has previously worked as an Environmental Specialist II at Geoambiente Sensoriamento Remoto LTDA and as a Researcher-Collaborator at INPE. She is currently working as an Analista de Geoprocesamento Pleno at Brasilseg.
