Daniel Safayeni

Daniel Safayeni is the Director of Policy at the Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC), leading a team that addresses various public policy issues.

He is the founder and Co-Chair of the OCC's Workforce Development Council and Ontario Cannabis Policy Council.

With a background in senior-level roles at the U.S. Department of State and the C.D. Howe Institute, Daniel is well-versed in political and economic matters.

Daniel is a media-trained professional, experienced in engaging with print, radio, and TV interviews.

He holds a Master of International Public Policy degree from the Balsillie School of International Affairs and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.

In addition to his role at the OCC, Daniel is involved in the Canadian International Council and George Brown College.

His educational background includes studies in International Political Economy, Environmental Economics, and Marketing.

Throughout his career, Daniel has gained experience in various organizations, contributing his expertise to policy development and stakeholder relations.
