Lawley is the founder of 280 Group LLC, a prominent product management consulting and training firm that has helped companies like Cisco, Wells Fargo, Adobe, and Nokia, to name just a few. Prior to that, he held senior product management and marketing roles at Symantec, Apple, Claris, and Digidesign. Lawley is a Certified Product Manager (CPM) and Certified Product Marketing Manager (CPMM) who holds an MBA with honors from San Jose State University and a bachelor's degree in Management Science from UC San Diego. He has authored several best-selling books on product management and marketing, including "Product Management for Dummies," "42 Rules of Product Management," and "Expert Product Management."
