She has worked on large productions internationally, including ceremonies for major world games in Azerbaijan, Jakarta, and Sochi, as well as the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic ceremonies. Nichol's expertise lies in budget management, estimating materials and labor costs, writing production schedules, and ensuring a smooth production process. She has held several prominent positions, including Deputy Production Manager at the National Theatre and Senior Props Manager at FiveCurrents.

Working at theatres in Canada, Nichol has extensive knowledge in managing production and technical details.
