Cristiano Ferreira is a skilled developer relations engineer with a passion for video game creation. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at San Antonio and completed further studies in Illustration/Animation at Pacific Northwest College of Art. Currently, he works at Oculus VR, where he helps game and graphics developers provide customers with the best possible experience on all levels of hardware. He writes feature games code, provides full CPU/GPU profiling and analysis, crafts optimization tips and tricks articles, creates presentations, and speaks at the most prominent games industry conferences and trade shows.
In his spare time, Cristiano hones his ancillary skills involved in all aspects of video game creation, including 2D illustration, 3D modelling, and game design. He created his own freelance company, Cristiano-Works, has completed several freelance contracts, and participates in game jams. Cristiano also has an experimental music project, which he uses to learn music theory and the latest production and live show tools.
