Linda Alexander is a successful media entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in the communication and media industry. Before co-founding We Are The Mighty (WATM), she played for a significant role at Viacom in building the company's domestic and international communication strategies for both corporate and consumer-facing initiatives. At Viacom, Alexander led communication efforts for MTV, Nickelodeon, VH1, and Comedy Central. Additionally, she was integral in the launch of many Viacom channels around the world, which helped shape the global entertainment landscape. Alexander has also worked to expand Viacom's creative powerhouse presence in Los Angeles.
Alexander's father served in the US Navy, and his dedication to serving the community inspired in Alexander a passion for giving back to those who served as well. Together with her co-founder, David Gale, she founded We Are the Mighty in 2014. In four years, WATM has become a media and entertainment brand that gives the military-veteran community a voice to tell authentic, inspirational, and entertaining stories about the military and by the military.
WATM engages millions of people daily through its digital and traditional media outlets on a mission to change the narrative on military and veterans. Through her expertise, Alexander helps partners and clients have a positive impact on the military community while strengthening the relationship between military, vets, and civilians. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Journalism from New York University.
