Marcos Ayestaran is an accomplished executive with a successful track record of turning tech startup ventures into prosperous businesses through scaling and growth strategies. Marcos's proficiency in data-driven decision-making, his global perspectives, and his background in Engineering and Business, helped him lead diverse and high-performing teams in his previous roles.
Marcos is a former CEO at Agilis, where he spearheaded the company's fundraising and team build out, resulting in a Series A with Kaszek Ventures and QED Investors. Before that, he was a Director of EnDriven and Prana Gas, where he led a team of about 20 people and hired six C-level executives in Mexico to run the portfolio companies. Additionally, Marcos is a former CFO of Caspr Biotech, where he was responsible for financial planning and management.
Marcos earned his Master of Business Administration and his Master of Science in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He also holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires.
