Abhishek Gupta, a highly skilled and experienced computer scientist, has an impressive track record working for top tech companies such as Facebook, Intel, Hewlett-Packard Laboratories, Oracle, and Microsoft. His areas of focus are systems, high-performance computing, infrastructure, cloud computing, and security, among others. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a B.tech gold medalist from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, he has a remarkable educational background.

Abhishek worked at Schlumberger innovation (STIC) as an innovation project manager, leading his unit's successful projects, including cloud-native 3D viz and HPC in Cloud with GKE. Additionally, he made improvements in the production optimization that resulted in 100x faster work rate, next-gen oilfield visualization with game engines, among others, delivering significant value to Schlumberger stakeholders.

Abhishek is a well-rounded computer expert, with experience in private and public cloud, host, network, application security, performance optimization, HPC, MPI, OpenMP, shell scripting, C/C++, VTunes, HPC for ML using Kubeflow, Tensorflow, and Impala, among other skills. Moreover, his contribution to the industry is significant, with sessions at conferences like GTC, SC, Openstack Summit, Intel Developer Forum (IDF), DockerCon, MesosCon, and IEEE/ACM CCGrid, Middleware.
