保田充彦

保田充彦, a former aerospace engineer with a background in aeronautical engineering from Kyoto University, has a solid expertise in numerical simulation in aerodynamics. During his time at IHI, he delved into performance analysis of jet engines, conducted operational tests, and contributed to the conceptual design of future propulsion systems. He also served as a technical envoy for the international joint development of jet engines, stationed at GE in Boston and Cincinnati between 1998 and 2003.
In 2007, 保田充彦 founded Zooms Co., Ltd., positioning it as a collective of science and technology creators. The company engages in various activities ranging from creating science education videos and websites to developing interactive devices for exhibitions, holographic displays, and VR/AR/MR systems. Additionally, he has contributed to WIRED Japan by writing and translating articles.
