Joe Teft is a highly experienced educator who has taught in several countries, including Australia, South Korea, Kuwait, Cambodia, and Singapore, for ten years. He has a passion for technology and firmly believes that technological integration in classrooms is crucial to student success. Joe is a digital literacy coach who has modelled being a learner to encourage the learning community's co-creation of knowledge.

Joe earned his Master's degree in Environmental Education and Communication from Royal Roads University, his Ed.D in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning from Nanyang Technological University, his Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), Primary Education from Murdoch University, and his Honours Bachelor of Arts, Anthropology, History from Trent University.

Joe has held several positions at various educational institutions, such as the Open Minds Co-ordinator, Place Based Learning Co-ordinator (Open Minds), Open Minds Coordinator, Digital Literacy Coach, Grade 2/3 Teacher, and Grade 3 Teacher/Team Leader.

Joe is a committed environmental educator who wants students to appreciate the environment's beauty and use current technology effectively to create something purposeful for the world's benefit. He believes that teachers are no longer just owners of knowledge, and learning should be personalized to the student's specific abilities and needs.
