Will Lucas is a dynamic entrepreneur and influential figure in the technology, media, and real estate sectors. As the founder and CEO of A William Lucas Company (aWLCo), he oversees a portfolio of innovative businesses, including Creadio, a full-service marketing and production agency; TolHouse, a private social club located in the historic Vistula district of Toledo, OH; and CommPartHS, which focuses on establishing strategic alliances among businesses and initiatives aimed at technology, athletics, and student-athletes. He was appointed by Governor John Kasich to the University of Toledo Board of Trustees in February 2016, where he lends his business acumen to benefit higher education in Ohio. He has also served on the Ohio Casino Control Commission and the Ohio MLK Commission, where he was recently the immediate past chairman. As a member of the InnovateOhio Executive Advisory Board, appointed by Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted in 2019, Will advises state leadership on modernizing government operations and enhancing Ohio’s business landscape.

Will Lucas's educational foundation is rooted in technology and organizational skills. He studied Organization Technology for his Bachelor's degree and earned an Associate degree in Technical Studies, both from The University of Toledo. Will also attended the Toledo Area Local Government Leadership Academy, where he completed a certificate in Local Government, equipping him with the insights needed to navigate public and community service effectively.
His achievements have not gone unnoticed, as Will has received numerous accolades throughout his career. In 2019, TechFunnel recognized him as one of the Top 14 Black Entrepreneurs in Technology. Earlier, he was acknowledged by TechCrunch in 2015 as one of the 40 Diverse People In Tech Who Made Big Moves. His influence within the African-American tech community has landed him features in prestigious publications, including Business Insider, which named him among the 46 Most Important African-Americans In Technology in both 2014 and 2013. He was also recognized by NBC’s ‘The Grio’ as one of the Top 10 Blacks in tech to watch in 2013 and was included in Business Insider’s list of the 25 Most Influential African-Americans in Tech in 2013.
In addition to his entrepreneurial spirit and community service, Will has a creative side as a songwriter. He co-wrote the track “How ‘Bout It” on R&B artist Bobby Valentino's second studio album, Special Occasion, which achieved impressive sales, exceeding 500,000 copies in the U.S. This creative engagement in music adds another dimension to his diverse skill set and showcases his innovative thinking.
