Shameema Sikder

Shameema Sikder is a highly accomplished individual with a strong educational background in both medicine and engineering. She earned her MD from the University of Arizona, College of Medicine, and holds dual BS degrees in Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry from the same institution.

Shameema Sikder is currently serving as an Associate Professor at The Johns Hopkins University. She has a diverse professional background, having held prestigious positions in various organizations. Previously, she was the Director of the Center of Excellence in Ophthalmic Surgical Education and Training (OphSET) at Wilmer Eye Institute. Prior to that, she served as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at The Johns Hopkins University and as the Medical Director at Wilmer: Bethesda within The Wilmer Eye Institute. Additionally, she has experience as the Assistant Chief of Service at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
