He furthered his academic credentials by acquiring an Executive MBA from both Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and the Schulich School of Business at York University. Before joining Microsoft, Michael was the Director of Industry Strategy for Manufacturing Operations Management & Industrie 4.0 at Siemens, where he spearheaded strategies for leveraging Industry 4.0 technologies to optimize manufacturing processes. His prior roles at Siemens PLM Software - Digital Factory included Director of Industry Strategy for Canada, Director of Professional Services & Business Development, and Director of Business Development. These positions highlighted his versatility and adaptability across different functions within the organization.
Michael's journey started at MEA Forensic Engineers & Scientists, where he worked as an Engineer in Training, and he then ascended to hold significant leadership roles, including District Engineering Leader at Rand Technology and several consulting roles at SDRC.
