    Melanie has a background in Dance and Choreography, holding a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from Temple University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Webster University.

    Currently, Melanie serves as the Associate Dean of the College of Performing Arts at Rowan University and is involved in various productions and collaborations, such as the 2015 Marie Rader Performing Arts Series featuring renowned groups like Concrete Temple Theatre, Mike Davis, LeeSaar he Company, and Afro Bop Ensemble.

    Her passion for bridging the gap between higher education and the professional field is evident in her role as a movement director on the upcoming premiere of Rebekah Maggor's new translation of plays from the Egyptian revolution at Rowan University.
