    Margherita Morpurgo is an accomplished academic and scientific professional with a diverse educational background.

    She pursued her postdoctoral fellowship at the Membrane and Biophysics Department of the prestigious Weizmann Institute of Science.

    Prior to her postdoc, Margherita Morpurgo earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

    She holds a Laurea in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology, with top honors (110 cum laude), from the Università degli Studi di Padova in Italy.

    Margherita also engaged in an Erasmus fellowship focused on Organic Chemistry at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

    In terms of professional experience, Margherita Morpurgo is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Padova.

    Previously, she served as the Rector Delegate for Technology Transfer in the Life Sciences at the Università degli Studi di Padova.

    She co-founded ANANAS Nanotech, where she held the position of Chief Scientific Officer (CSO).

    Margherita Morpurgo has also worked as an Assistant Professor at Università degli Studi di Padova and as a Visiting Professor at both the Weizmann Institute of Science and the Mount Sinai Medical Center.

    Her expertise extends to analytical chemistry, having held the position of Head of the analytical chemistry lab at Integrated Technology Corporation.

    Through her academic and professional journey, Margherita Morpurgo has demonstrated a strong commitment to research, education, and technology transfer in the field of life sciences.
